Thursday 14th May 2026 – Updated Review Jacksons Ford continue to prove why they are one of the most exceptional businesses around! Even after many years, we still would not trust anyone else with our car. If you value honesty, reliability, genuine kindness, & old-fashioned customer care, this is absolutely the place to go! We bought our beloved car, “DXY” (“Dixie”), from Jacksons Ford years ago. From the beginning, they were completely pressure-free. They explained her full history, took us on a test drive, & made sure we were completely happy. They explained how they’d maintained & serviced her over the years, & we decided we wanted them to continue caring for her too. It was one of the best decisions we ever made. Since then, DXY has been the most reliable car we’ve ever owned, entirely thanks to Jacksons Ford’s incredible care & attention. They always go above & beyond, but this year they exceeded even their usual standards! When they contacted me with a reminder that DXY’s MOT & service were due, I was in an extremely distressing situation involving my elderly Dad, who was being mistreated in hospital. I was emotionally exhausted & overwhelmed. The man I spoke to at Jacksons Ford showed such genuine kindness, patience, empathy, & understanding that it honestly brought me to tears. At a time when I felt completely alone, his compassion restored my faith in humanity. He listened without judgement, arranged a reminder call, & even reassured me that I could call if I simply needed someone to talk to. That kindness meant more than he wills ever realise. During one of the darkest periods of my life, his support genuinely helped me find the strength to keep going. Every member of staff has been equally kind, thoughtful, & understanding. Their compassion towards my family will never be forgotten. When the time came for DXY’s service, she'd been sitting unused for months & refused to start for the collection team. The 2 men were endlessly patient while trying to coax her back into life. Jacksons Ford then helped me search for affordable recovery options after Ford’s own roadside recovery quoted a stupid amount. Once again, the same young man went out of his way to contact several companies & find the cheapest solution for me. Once DXY arrived with them, the communication & professionalism were flawless. They kept me informed throughout, provided accurate quotations, checked that I was happy with costs beforehand, gave honest advice, & treated both me & DXY with genuine care & respect. There were no hidden surprises - just honest, high-quality, service. DXY, once again, has been returned to us in perfect condition, & we know she will remain with our family for many years thanks to Jacksons Ford. Businesses like this are incredibly rare. Their professionalism, honesty, reliability, & compassion, make them invaluable. As long as we own cars, we will never go anywhere else! We've been to other Garages, but the staff here, & the warm welcome, are second to none, & now we won't go anywhere else! We bought our family car from Jacksons too, & we've had no problems with the Ford Focus, DXY (Dixy), since we've had her. The one issue we had, was quickly resolved at the last Service, & everything was explained clearly, & without confusing jargon. I tell everyone about this Garage, & the care they've given our beloved DXY. :) Thanks Jacksons. See you at the next Service!!! :)

They make up fixed price of the repair works and parts. The cost of parts was quoted much higher than the fords original spare parts website. Very expensive for a small work of changing car tyre pressure sensors.

Totally overpriced. Every garage in the area warned me about this place (only after i used them). The main man drives a posh car (go figure). Their idea of 25 mins work is still an hour labour. A simple job still took them longer than they quoted. They sell cars there too, at totally over the top prices. Their game is they give you a quote ,well OTT, then they quickly give you a slightly cheaper one 'just for you sir', making you think you are getting a deal! I must say, i have never known nearby garages all giving me the same negative feedback on this one! IE 'oh god, you didn't did you? don't you know what they did to so and so? In short, avoid! They are cons!
