Took my E53 X5 as the steering wheel used to wobble at speeds over 70 mph. I had to leave the car for over 3 days in the garage and at the end of it they confirmed issue was fixed. They confirmed no wheel alignment was required. Brought the car home and realised the steering wheel was pulling to one side and the steering wheel wobble had not gone completely. Took it back and they confirmed alignment was required. They also attributed the slight wobble to a small dent in the alloy. The car was in the garage for over a day. Took it back and the alignment issue was worse. It also resulted in the front passenger tyre going bald on the outside. Booked another visit to the garage and keeping my fingers crossed

The heating matrix of my E30 3 series exploded and was brought here for repair/replacement. Having spent well over £1,000 to have this done, a few days after I collected the car, the water temperature gauge again went close to the red zone. I stopped the car, turned engine off and saw water leaking from under the bonnet. I had the car transported to an independent BMW specialist and they diagnosed that had Specialist Cars conducted a pressure test after replacing the heating matrix, they would have found a split in one of the associated hoses, which was the source of the leak (under pressure). Such a simple and logical procedure was either not conducted by Specialist Cars are not conducted correctly. I shall not return to them.

This garage has sold us two cars, both BMWs. In each case, their negotiations were fair and favourable. After sales service is good and reliable. They address warranty claims rigorously; if you have a case, they respond. Their servicing is solid quality and their attention to customer needs is good They are, of course, fairly expensive, although we buy tyres from them cheaper than the so-called tyre specialists. Also, their fitting and wheel balancing is superior. A good garage we shall continue to use so long as we have BMWs
