Have used SLC for my Mercedes and my wife and daughters minis for several years. They always provide a skilled and excellent service at a competitive price. You can totally rely on their recommendations and I would not consider going anywhere else.

This was my first visit - definitely not the last. An interim service cost £90 and an MOT £35, which represents excellent value. Louise went through the issues I had raised on the phone and face to face. She referred me to ATS for wheel alignment and I got this done at trade price on mentioning her name. She went to great trouble to try to get a part (and will contact me when available).

I would recommend the guys at SLC to anyone. They are honourable people running a family business. The standard of work is impeccable and they bend over backwards to help. I chose this garage, as Simon the owner always looked after my S2000 at a previous Honda garage. I’m very finicky with my car and Simon is the only person I trust with looking after it. I’d just purchased my 6th S2000 and wanted Simon to give it a major service and check over. He also replaced the gearbox oil, diff oil, spark plugs, brake fluid and used my own oil that I supplied. Thankfully he gave it a clean bill of health apart from needing new front discs and pads at the next service. A great relief after driving a 750 mile round trip to pick it up. The lady who looked after me on service reception was also very knowledgeable. She even saved me money, after I asked for a fuel filter change. Explaining that it was an in fuel tank sock that didn’t really need changing. Overall a very pleasant experience and £250 cheaper than a main dealer had quoted me. Always really friendly service. Both, mechanics and office staff are very helpfull and polite. Very honest with price's and information. Recomended my mum to them and she also found them really very plesent to deal with, and she has been ripped off by other garages in the past, but the guys at SLC really looked after her, they even called me before they done work to her car because she wanted me to check they were not ripping her off, ( i'm an ex breakdown recovery technician for the RAC ), and it was no hassel for them to do that for her. And as she said, they even made me a nice cup of coffee while i waited, huh mothers! I absolutly recomend them, i have two M.O.T's due this year and they will be both booked in here. And if you think this is somone who may work at this garage, please come find me, i'm a driver for the builders merchants up the road from this garage.
