My car was booked in to replace the alloy wheels which had some damage and were looking very worn & tired. PX Wheels refurbished four of the same Wheel that they already had in stock so when I turned up with my car they had already refurbed the wheels and within 1 hour I drove away with a set of ‘Like New’ wheels on my car. I purchased some refurbished wheels for my Volvo C30 from PXWheels. I can honestly say their approach to customer service is the worst I have ever come across. Three of the wheels that were delivered looked pretty good, although there were a couple of minor imperfections. One of the wheels, however, had quite a bit of damage that seemed to have been due to a defective finish. The tyre fitters showed me the damaged wheel before fitting a tyre, so I’m fairly sure the damage wasn’t caused by them. I also got a second opinion from a local wheel refurbisher, who informed me that the wheel seemed to have been poorly prepared. When I raised the issue of the damaged wheel with Gordon Osgerby (the owner of PXWheels), he insisted the damage had been caused by the tyre fitter and refused to offer a repair. Unimpressed with Gordon's response, I suggested a compromise of a partial refund so I could get the wheel repaired locally. I also asked him to let me know when my old wheels would be collected, so I could make sure there were no problems with collection. After 5 days without a reply, I sent a polite email asking for a response and confirmation of when my £150 deposit would be refunded. In return I got what I can only describe as an angry rant from Gordon, claiming I had insulted his work and his ethics. He also claimed he had done me a favour by allowing me to swap my wheels for a different design (which were the same price), seemingly oblivious to the fact that I was a customer who had paid a significant amount of money for the pleasure of doing business with him. I think it goes without saying that I wouldn’t recommend PXWheels.

Took my four Skoda Octavia alloys to PXWheels and they were professionally refurbished with quick turn round. They even stored my car for two nights while the work was completed. Took my spare alloy on another occasion and again it was professionally refurbished. Would use them again but have run out of wheels to be refurbished. They have got some very good offers for new tyres as well and will definitely ask them for a quote when it's replacement time.
