My sons car went in for service and MOT. Came back with dent in the back. took to a guy to look at and was advised it had only just be done and he could tell. Adv manager of this who went away and said not there fault but would pay half towards it ???. My son is at uni so can not afford to pay the other half. Then I looked at the service history book and they had not bothered to even fill this in. I am trying to contact them and they do not pick phone up. Looks like I will have to spend another 1.5 hours driving over to get this sorted out. Appalling service

Absolute cowboys - quoted me £1600 for a new steering rack and mount - it was not needed. Got 2 other opinions and it was just the brakes that needed sorting.

"The new Service Manager went to great lengths to ensure I was completely satisfied."

I felt forced to trek to this garage when the local Vauxhall centre where I had bought my car only a couple of months earlier closed. When I arrived, rather disgruntled, Russell the Service Manager was very helpful indeed. He offered to pick my car up or drop it back next time. Instead I opted for the service to be prioritised while I killed some time in Kingston. RUssell also, quickly and without a fuss, rectified a deficiency that I realised soon after I had bought it as a fairly new used car. I will happily take it back again for such good service.

I took my Saab 93 for a recommended aircon treatment. The air con was fully working but I thought as this service recommended be dealer a would do it to prevent any future damage. This service shouldn't take longer than 30-40 min so I started to suspect something went wrong when the car was still in there after an hour. During this waiting time, I was able to witness as they trying to sell aircon servicing for other innocent costumers as well stating that their air con only blows 7-8C and the recommended is 5C... Once they updated me I received an answer stating that they couldn't finish the job as during the vacuuming process the system came up with an error message for a leak in the system. Mr Chris Wood offered me a leak test for £59 instead of £99 as a goodwill gesture but failed to carry out as they didn't have the necessary equipment to carry out the job. They supposed to receive the necessary equipment within a couple of days. I have been promised they will let me know when they will receive the necessary equipment. 2 weeks later after I contacted Mr Wood I received a reply stating they expecting the equipment. This was 20/07/2013. As of today 23/11/2014!!!! I still haven't heard from Mr Wood. Yes after 17 months still nothing!!! Obviously, by now my aircon has been fixed. It was no leak in the system whatsoever. The vacuuming process generated a blockage in the system which led to more serious damage in the system and I ended with a huge repair bill. No responsibilities have been taken from Mr Wood and he actually blamed me for the problem even if the air con treatment has been recommended by them. So I had a perfectly working air con, I have been fooled by the manufacturers' recommendation for the air-con treatment and I ended with a huge headache and repair bill. My advice is to avoid them at any cost!!!! Garages like Now Vauxhall should be forced to close down and employees like Mr Wood should be personally responsible for the costumers they defrauded. I planned to take legal actions. Unfortunately, I have been advised I have a small chance in favour of me so I had no other option than get over it.

"Awful Garage - I doubt you will find worse - Mainstream dealer with backstreet garage attitude."

Collected brand new Vehicle from them in July. Immideatly noticed damage all over the vehicle, they had even driven it into one of their ramps and left yellow paint on it! - to be fair they agreed to rectify. However........ Once collected and taken away they changed the story over what they were prepared to resolve, vehicle bought back still with damage on it. Back and forth two more times and still not fully repaired... Its a brand new vehicle and shouldnt be in this condition anyway !!! Since then the vehicle has developed several faults and rattles. With help from finance the vehicle is being replaced from another mainline dealer as Now Vauxhall wriggled and squirmed and were very unhelpful and ultimatly refuse to faceup to their responsibilitys. My advice, if you want to be inconvinianced, deceived and lied to by the ignorant service manager, then Now Vauxhall Kingston is your garage. Thank god we had credit card protection. Consumer Direct & their regulators Motor Codes the regulator. I definitly would not recommend this garage.

"Avoid unless its just a simple service"

I drive a Saab and this garage is literally at the end of my road. I have used it 4 times over the years. First time service was ok. Second time delays and difficulties. Twice used with no option - a dead car , with no time to go elsewhere. My experiences have not been good. They clearly have enough business with simple , low grade servicing to do very well. But with anything more than that they struggle. Communication is poor once they have your car , which is at odds to front of house where they are all very pleasant! On my last visit, with a broken alternator , still not fixed after they had the car a week, I was having to phone round regional managers to either get the car fixed or get it returned still broken. When this was fixed last year , the alternator broke again( yes it's a Saab thing and not the garage) at 9 months. Such has been my horror with this garage that I paid for a new alternator at another garage (£350) rather than risk another visit here even though the alternator was under warranty. Perhaps mine has been an isolated case, but I shall never be using them again.
