Motologic BMW Specialist, Harrow

I started using John about 4 years ago on my first Petrol BMW and now still use him on my Diesel. I appreciate his honesty. When things are wrong with the car, he tells me, but tells me that I can wait and not to worry about it. His upfront, he will only repair stuff when I can afford it and its necessary. He is friendly, and willing to come and do the work at our house too, which is great for the busy work lifestyle.

Don't waste your time with this guy, use someone with auto logic. If he had any sense he would invest in it himself but he's too busy running around squeezing in his personal life around his job and talking absolute rubbish whilst linking up his tinpot laptop to your car. Impossible to get hold of and never turns up on time either, you will constantly have to chase him to get anything from him for what it's worth. I had an O2 sensor fault reoccurring that was in fact a problem with the DME, he assured me it wasn't and insisted on replacing the sensor again! Even after being told several times it had been replaced twice already, in the end he didn't follow up on the job for which I was glad. I now have a real specialist BMW mechanic that can find any fault and fix absolutely anything using the most cost effective method. Trust me, find someone with auto logic and real experience of BMW this guy is useless.

I have an E38 740i which had a knocking suspension issue, after three garages looking at it, and to no avail, a friend of mine recommended that I tried using his guy (John at Motologic) who is a mobile BMW Specialist. This guy found the problem within half an hour, apparently a fairly common issue which was repaired within no time and at a very reasonable price! Needless to say, I have continued using John for the past 4yrs now and he has never seized to impress me what with the care, expertise, pricing and professionalism which is lacking on average nowadays.
