Moorview Garage, Laneast

Our first time using this garage after our usual garage were unable to look at the car until later this month. We had feared a very expensive job having been told previously that the gearbox and clutch may need replacing. Following a temporary repair the car was fine until 31 December when it broke down and spilled oil everywhere. Moorview towed the car to their garage yesterday, and spotted an issue with a driveshaft that had not been secured properly. They did the work, re-filled the gearbox with oil, test drove the car, and told us the clutch and gearbox are fine. We have a very low income due to being unemployed, so this very reasonably priced job was the best news received so far this year.

We have used this garage, on the recommendation of a friend, since we moved to this area 6 years ago. Mike is always friendly and helpful, knows everything about our cars and has never let us down. When one of our cars broke down many miles from home he went and collected it for us and found a replacement for us. He always has courtesy cars available when the car is booked in and always goes out of his way to help in an emergency. Dealing with this garage has always been easy and a pleasure and I would not hesitate to recommend it.
