I've been using Midland/AutoPoint on and off for around ten years for my servicing and repairs on my various Golfs. They specialise in VAG and Vauxhalls. Lionel who runs the garage is knowledgeable and friendly and so far I've been very happy with the work he has performed on my cars. I've used him for servicing, MOTs, cambelt changes, brake changes and for engine diagnosis. Every time I've used him, he's quoted me a price for work beforehand and if he's found anything else that needs doing he's always contacted me to quote prices and to see if I want the work doing. I've never had until the next day to pick the car up, it's always ready on the day assuming I get it there on time! He perhaps isn't the cheapest of garages but he's a lot cheaper than the main dealer and the quality of his work has been excellent.
