Meanygate Garage, Leyland

My car broke down and Meanygate towed it to their garage in order to diagnose the problem and fix it. On taking the car they failed to tell me that it would be another 3 weeks before they could do the job which would be £597. Booked into a different garage who could do the job quicker and charged me £130 LESS than Meanygate were quoting. Arranged for car to be recovered from Meanygate and taken to other garage. On recovery, my front passenger side tyre was flat, they’d broken the trim they’d taken off to use the towing iron and the battery was flat. They then charged me £54 for towing my car to their garage and the 10 min diagnostic test. Used this garage many times but never again

I've used this garage for over three years now and have been very pleased with the service I have had from them. They are very friendly, give free advice and even free time on some problems I have had. Their prices are reasonable and they ring, both to let you know the price before they start the work and after when the job is complete. They certainly are not rip off merchants.
