Laurels Garage, High Littleton

We had just arrived in the area to attend a wedding for the weekend. Our van had a problem with the brakes which the breakdown recovery company wrongly diagnosed. I contacted Steve at the Laurels as it was the closest garage to our venue. He hung around late on a Friday afternoon to receive the van and suggested that he would have a look the next morning but getting parts on what was a sunny bank holiday weekend might be a problem. Short story, Steve solved the issue, fixed the brakes and got us on our way Sunday morning with a very modest bill- hero. Thank you Steve

I've been using Laurels Garage for some years now and have always found them to be very helpful and willing to repair rather than replace expensive components where possible. Replacing the coil spring on my wife's Berlingo a couple of years ago saved a fortune over the dealer option of replacing the strut. Owning an American car (1992 Cadillac) I try to do as much maintenance as I can myself and they are always willing to advise on what needs to be done. In December I had a wheel bearing go which meant getting 2 hub assemblies from the US via Specialist Autoparts in Yeovil which Laurels fitted for me.
