I recommend this garage to everyone. They make you feel like family and its like having your car fixed by your dad. If you had the kind of dad who bought you a pony and watched you play sport in the rain. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they are reliable with generations of expertise. There's not a whiff of dodgy car dealer here. It's rare to find this level of service. You will never want another mechanic after visiting this one.

I went to this garage purrlely adhoc and was pleasantly surprised. I was told by another garage that I had a coolant leak. Heart's diagnosed a radiator leak instead !! I will use and definitely recommend this garage.

Have been taking my car to Hearn Bros for over 4 years now. They are honest and friendly and super helpful (dropping my car back for me when I was stuck at work). Nothing is too much trouble and I totally trust them.

I've said it before and I'll say it again this is the best garage ever. Simple no-nonsenssome MOT and excellent customer service. No BS about finding something wrong with a 29 year old car to fail it. Absolutely honest and friendly which is what all garages should be but sadly they aren't. 10/10

This is the best garage that I have ever been to. I have been 4 times and each time have received excellent value for MOTs and repairs. The team are trustworthy, friendly and responsive. As long as I live in London I shall not go anywhere else.

I saw an article in the Telegraph about 20 years ago about this garage giving a great service, now I live near the garage, they have serviced and MOT'd my vehicle and family members vehicles as well, I wouldn't go anywhere else, even if won lottery.

I have been going to Hearne Bros for the last 10 years since I moved to the area. I had no idea that my local garage would be such a gem. They are friendly, polite, very knowledgeable, honest and fantastic value. If the job requires outside help they recommend someone I also know I can trust. It has made owning a car much less stressful. I frequently recommend them and everyone has shared my own positive experience.

As a woman I feel safe going to this garage as I am told what's happening and what needs to be done, everything is explained to me. I have had bad experiences elsewhere over the years, the team at Hearn bros are all great.

I been meaning to write a review for ages but somehow forgot about it! I absolutely love Hearn Bros. It certainly has that vibe of proper old school family business with high customer service values & a great work ethic. Matt who is the owner is the most polite and honest person you can meet - in fact everyone of his staff are super friendly. Each time if I have a problem or have issues with my car - they sort it out. You will always get a precise quote in advance (with no unexpected hidden charges) before you even book an appointment. Having said that, he will always tell you in case the issue could be worse and makes sure you know the higher pricing in advance. Last but not least the turn least the turn around is always quick and efficient. I have recommended Hearn Bros to lots of my neighbours and friends & will continue to use them as long as I have car & live not hours away.

Honest about car and will not find unnecessary work. Don't be fooled by cut price MOT outfits - they will fit you up later with finding non-existent and expensive faults. No need to go anywhere else other than Hearn Brothers, Brixton Hill especially if your own knowledge about cars is limited

I’ve been using this garage since 1980s. I now live in west London but always cross the city when my car needs attention because I know I’ll get excellent service at very reasonable prices.

I'd called Matt because I was concerned there might be a problem with the power steering on my Honda. He was able to book me in within a few days and checked (it needed topping up but there was no apparent leak) the steering and all the levels - tyres, fluids, etc. and was finished within an hour and a half. Brilliant and now the car is running perfectly once more.

As stated earlier, Totally trustworthy, and you don't get that feeling with a lot of garages ! Over 50 years of driving amd this is the best garage i have ever found ....... Thoroughly recommended.

Took my Sister's Kia Picanto here for an MOT. Absolutely professional honest service. You can rely on them to give you an honest appraisal of your car. If there is something seriously wrong I would expect them to register it. They will not use the MOT to find work like some Kwik rip off organisations I could name

I have had the car serviced at other garages previously and this work has clearly not been done but I have been charged) I dropped my car off in the morning and by lunch time the MOT and the plugs were changed. The car is running nice and smoothly now and they even dropped the car back to my house. Would definitely recommend to others and will use again

I’ve been going to Hearne well over 5 years now. They are friendly, efficient and will chat through any mechanical problems with ease. They always fit me in and the MOT takes less than an hour. Some garages can be less than friendly to young women, but Hearne are super professional x

Booked in for an MOT after receiving a reminder text from Hearn Bros, which was Really helpful. Booked in within a couple of days and test done within a couple of hours. Friendly, approachable customer service too. Would & will highly recommend to anyone needing a mechanic.

Absolutely incredible service from Matt and the team i needed a clutch and flywheel replaced which i ordered the parts myself and these gentleman did it in quick and efficient timing alongside a very competitive price which i was shocked when i first heard, they seem like extremely genuine and down to earth people they deserve 5 stars i would highly suggest going to this garage! i advised my Sister to take her 1999 Nissan Micra along on her own to have the alternator and power steering belts adusted. Not only were they extremely courteous to a lady driver who knows absolutely nothing about cars, but they fixed her car for free. They told her candidly that the drive belts just needed adusting and not renewal. I would advise any female driver on her own to come here and nowhere else.

I had just been swindled by another garage who made holes in the sills of my car with a screwdriver and then said it was dangerous to drive. They then had the cheek to ask an exorbitant sum to have it repaired and offered to pass it for the mot if I paid £130 for new front brake pads. I ignored them and had my car repaired elsewhere and then took it to Hearns who passed it and even offered me some helpful mechanical advice. I should have gone to Hearn's in the first place. There's obviously a reason why they have been in business since 1922. My first choice of garage from now on. Paul Pierce.

I would not go anyway else. This garage should win awards for its understated really exceptional service it offers. No frills just honest, good reliable excellent service every time. There is no need for a waiting room because you are never kept waiting because the communication is excellent.

We have used Hearn Bros for the last few years to look after our 30 year old Austin Metro. Matt and his team always take great care to provide an excellent level of service and demonstrate patience with our ageing vehicle! After recent major surgery to sort out the cylinder head gasket, the car is running better than ever!
