Visited the garage twice on Monday to have some repairs carried out following a MoT failure. Spoke to Asif for a quote, showing him the failure certificate so he knew what was required. I accepted the quote and booked the car in for Friday. I spoke to him, on Thursday to confirm. He sounded vague and mentioned his mechanic was off. I reconfirmed the intention was to have the MoT retested on Saturday. He reluctantly agreed to the booking as agreed on Monday. I dropped the car in on a Friday morning at 9am. I spoke to Asif who initially wanted to reconfirm the agreed the price with view to changing. I received at call at 11am to say he could not do the work as a specialist tool was required which he did not have. It seems I have a special BMW! This has been a total fiasco. If he was unable to carry out the repairs he should have the good grace to be upfront and honest and not string customers along. I have wasted the best part of a week on this and am still no closer to getting my car roadworthy. Extremely frustrated! I will not be going back. AVOID!
