I bought a car peugeot 407sw hdi 3 yrs ago with 126000 miles on clock .It isnt used much and has covered 20000 miles since i bought it it now reads 146000 . the clutch is now slipping and i suspect it is worn out . If you need work on your car to last a reasonable amount of miles i would suggest choosing your repairer wisely ! I am a qualified Tech and intend to strip this to ascertain if 2nd hand parts were used

No one likes getting a bill for vehicle repairs and i'm no different. That said I can not fault Gloucester Road Gearboxes, they were up front about the costs. They arranged to collect the gearbox from my local garage and had fully reconditioned one back in a bit over 24 hours.

I used Gloucester Road Gearboxes in May 2013, they repaired the gearbox on my 1999 VW Passat Sports Estate, they also fitted a new clutch and a flywheel. The service they give is second to none I am a very happy customer, these guys are the experts in their field, they are extremely helpful and courteous and a pleasure to do business with. I recommend them 100%

I can not fault Gloucester Road Gearboxes they've been great all round. They did exactly what they said they would do for the quoted price and on time. Staff were friendly, organised and informative, they even let me borrow a car while mine was repaired. Garage was easy to find. I recommend Gloucester road Gearboxes and would defiantly use again.
