GK Ford, Chesterfield

Recently part exchanged a car here , 2 weeks after driving away in the car i purchased from them i get a phone call saying they want some more money off me .Its not a massive amount but their mistake nonetheless. They also overcharged me for the car tax. Today i find out the car has had 3 previous owners after the advert stating one former keeper , not a big issue but still annoying. As you can probably tell my faith in buying from here again is remote.

We recently bought a 13 reg Fiesta and most impressed by the service that came as part of buying the car. Minor points that we picked up as we inspected the car were noted and rectified to a very high standard, plus the car was serviced and delivered to Gloucestershire at no extra charge. Free entertainment also supplied by Justin - we await his standup tour :) Very helpful chap, as was Damian who left Chesterfield so early that delivery was around 09:30. Excellent all round.

My daughter's 2009 Fiesta Zetec had a leek which caused the rear passenger footwell to fill with water. This transpired to be a fault in the longevity of a bulkhead bonded joint in some vehicles. Ford's own customer care 'or lack of it' just didn't want to know, suggesting we should obtain a discount from the dealer. As GK Ford were neither the supplying agent or indead the servicing company of the vehicle I thought this poor from Ford. GK Ford on the other hand and despite a long waiting list for the same problem provided us with great customer care, sympathy, a discount and fixed the problem.
