Following a full service in September 2021 Glenn gave me a little list of things that would enhance the driving pleasure of the vehicle. Just to consider for the future. No pressure just good old fashioned quality advice. I have today picked up the car having the engine mounts replaced alongside some steering work and I can honestly say the XC70 drive is so much smoother, and quieter for those long journeys. Glen has looked after my car since I purchased it in 1989. He never overcharges and he had continued to do his best for my car despite its age. Several of my friends have also used GB Autos to service their cars by other brands and they too were very happy with Glen's work.

If you are pleased with your Volvo, you will be delighted when it is serviced by GB Autos. As well as meticulous workmanship, they can offer additional refinements such as Volvo 4-wheel alignment checking (can pleasingly transform the car's handling, and correct all the speed-bump and pothole clobbering), and also Volvo's own "Polestar" engine/transmission software up-grades for certain models, which can make your car a real extra treat to drive, while keeping economy and warranty. GB Autos are also first class value for routine replacements like tyres and batteries.

Booked in for a busy Saturday and when I arrived to pick up the car that evening they had not done the MOT. The owner Glenn apologised, drove me home, did the MOT for free and dropped the car off to me Monday morning. Can't fault anything about their work or customer service.

GB Autos have expertly serviced, MOT'd and maintained my 1995 Volvo 850 for the last 8 years (80,000 miles) and it has just passed 250,000 miles on the odometer. A genuine family business, Glenn Brown and his team are all Volvo trained technicians and there's nothing they don't know about Volvo's. They only use genuine parts and quite often they've have a perfect second-hand part. Highly regarded for their servicing by the local motor trade, they're always busy. It pays to book your service well in advance but Glenn will always try and squeeze you in if it's an emergency.

Glenn Brown and his son Tom, both highly experienced Volvo Master Technicians, carry out the best Volvo servicing and repairs available. They are particularly good at diagnosing and rectifying difficult electronic and/or mechanical faults. Any Volvo maintained by GB Autos will be a pleasure to own for years.

G B Autos have been servicing my '94 850 estate for the past 4 years and I can recommend them without hesitation. All the work is carried out to a very high standard and the attention to detail is fastidious. nothing gets missed and you always get a call to let you know if there is any additional work or parts required. I do 10,000 miles a year and my car has never let me down. Nothing is too much trouble, you get a reminder that your annual service and MOT are due and the bill is always good value.

I have personally dealt with Glenn Brown, Volvo Master Technician since 1987. Glenn and his son Tom are the most outstanding Volvo specialist workshop operation in Surrey, if not the South of England. For spot-on servicing, with nothing missed, plus expert advice, much better fault-finding and correction advice, minimum parts and service costs, together with supremely good after-market knowledge of actual model requirements and spares quality, you will be very impressed. Do you like your Volvo? You will be surprised and impressed, to learn about the after-market up-grades available for engines, brakes and suspension improvements. Tyres and wheels? GB Autos are the Volvo experts for new tyres, plus winter tyre/wheel options, plus laser alignment for all 4 wheels (even just correctly aligned, your car will drive and handle, even better than new).

I found GB Autos via this website about 5 years ago after becoming disillusioned with being ripped off by main dealers and their shambolic workmanship. Glenn, the owner, has encyclopedic knowledge of the Volvo brand - having worked on them for over 25 years both in main dealers and under his own banner. It's a true garage in the sense he will advise on what needs doing and fixes it - not just disappear off to the parts bin to replace it. The service he offers is second to none with excellent communication and after service back up.
