Garage Express, Kingsbury

Went to get my van inspected by this garage, was booked in but no time slot given so had to wait a couple of hours, they expected me to leave the van and come back once they call me when it’s ready, but said it could be anywhere from 3 to 8 hours, not a good start, anyway they done the inspection but missed a few things an other garage noticed straight away and didn’t tell me anything I didn’t know already, said the clutch was good which was my initial concern and reason for the inspection, however I doubt they even checked as the garage I took it to after garage express indeed confirmed the clutch was gone, I watched them replace it through a glass viewing window and it was indeed worn right down as the mechanic came over and showed me soon as he pulled it out, Anyway the inner tie rods were worn out but they quoted for 2 new rod assemblies, “inner and outer” the outer tie rods were replaced about 6 months earlier so I knew they were good, the quote came back at just under £500 to replace the tie rods and addditional £85 to re align the wheels, I thought at that price they must be quoting OEM parts but no it was after market parts. Anyway, paid up for the inspection and walked away thinking lucky escape, bought moog inner tie rods for both sides for £50 from euro car parts and replaced them myself. Kwik fit done the alignment for £50. So job done for £100.00

Having used this garage because of a recommendation by a friend i can see why she has used them for the last 4 years. My first time there was a hassle free visit. My car needed to be repaired and i was told exactly what needed doing and i knew the cost. They were even kind enough to hold my car over night as i couldn't make it back the same day to pick it up. Very pleased to recommend this garage to anyone who needs a car repair.

Took my car in for a MOT and service. A few other bits were highlighted that needed to be repaired. A work done when promised and it was done to a high standard. Will be here again for my next service.

Well no one enjoys spending money on car repairs but I could not have spent it at a better garage. MOT and a few repairs carried out in the same day. Excellent contact from the garage and very competitive prices. They repaired my car the same day and I drove away very happy with a fresh MOT and a clean car.

My endless searching for a decent garage paid off when i found garage express.My BMW was serviced and washed on the same day and a few minor problems sorted out. Happy to now send all the families cars to them as they do a good job.

I had an emergency where my van broke down just up the road from Garage Express. They pushed my van into their workshop and fixed it straight away. Luckily it was only a small problem but too big for me to sort out myself (or even know what I am doing) Thanks Garage Express for such a quick job and getting back on the road so quickly.

Had MOT done here, car failed but I knew it would. They repaired it and then passed it with no fuss and at a reasonable cost. Happy to recommend and use this garage again.

Very easy to have my car MOT'd. I waited in their comfortable reception and the car was done with no fuss. Will be happy to recommend to other people and I will be using again for all repairs and servicing.

Routine service and some repairs were carried out on my van at this garage. Good quality of repair and no complaints. Price reasonable, and the wife's car will be going there next week.

Wasent expecting much but had a great experience while waiting for my car to be fixed. Great staff, great service and a lovely dog called Poppy to play with.

Feel Conned. Took car to have MOT which passed. Few weeks later whilst getting car ready for sale, saw on MOT certificate that they had put an advisory note that the car had an oil leak. During MOT was told had passed MOT and there was no mention of items on advisory list. I did not check paper work and went home. Probably my fault but they should have bought these to my notice. Before going back to them to find what where the leak was I took car to a couple of garages and both could not find any leak. I was told by the garage Express Owner that I would have to pay £30 for them to check where the oil leak is. I did not feel that I should have to pay this and the Owner said that he can't check unless fee is paid. If the advisory items would have been notified to me after the MOT I would have asked them where the leak was. Their website states that they provide a honest service to their customers, perhaps the honest and customer care they should have done with me was apologise for not informing me of the advisory notes and re checked car for a leak. By having the note on the MOT cert it will decrease the value of my car and I will be seeking compensation from them.

I visited this garage today as a new customer. Steve who I believe is the director is money motivated. He failed to even see a basic issue on my vehicle and said I should book for a £30 diagnostic per issue. I felt this wasnt good customer service if you aim to attract or retain customers. I left shortly after. I was rather surprised with all the memberships this garage has and a simple check and some advice proved to be too much to ask.

Since not being able to repair my own cars any more I have struggled to find a good garage. I found Garage Express and have been very happy with their wonderful service. There service was wonderful and they even picked up the car from home and delivered it back. Great service, wonderful people fair prices.

After being recommended by the AA to go to Garage Express I was very pleased with the service I received. After suffering a breakdown the mechanics at Garage Express got straight on to my car and fixed it the same day. The cost was very reasonable and the customer service was excellent. I have now found a garage that can take care of all the cars in my family. Good people, keep up the good work.

I've been taking our cars to Russell Automotive / Garage Express since the local Seat dealer closed down and Steve and his team really are the best. Steve used to be the service manager at VW Colindale and really knows his stuff. As well as being authorised service agents for the VW range (inc Seat, Audi and Bentley) they also work on other makes through their Garage Express brand. They're definitely cheaper than going to a main dealer, considering you're getting dealer-level quality. They're very experienced and professional and you know when there's a problem with your car that you'll get an accurate diagnosis and a guarantee to back up the work. MOTs are competitive too and unlike a lot of garages you know they're not going to try to sell you things like wiper blades when you don't need them. In a word, quality.

Correctly identified faults on both my son's Toyota Yaris and my BMW. Repairs completed on time to quote- very reasonable. Will be using only them in the future! Really helpful friendly staff.

My van is my work so I needed it repaired ASAP. Found Garage Express to be very efficient and they had my van repaired and MOT tested in a very quick time. This has always been and will always be my one and only garage. Good guys, great job!

Very pleased to have found Garage Express in Kingsbury. I was spoken to in a normal non technical way and the car was repaired very quickly and at a price that i thought would be more expensive. Good clean nice garage with friendly staff i would recommend it to all.
