Froggatt Edge Garage, Hope Valley

We were on holiday in the area when our ‘check engine’ light came on. We phoned the AA who were useless and told us they wouldn’t be able to diagnose the problem and to take it to our dealer. We phoned our dealer who told us to bring it in to them in 4 weeks time. Neither could tell us whether it was safe to continue with our holiday or whether we needed to stop driving the car immediately. We decided to call in at Froggatt Edge Garage as it was the closest to where we were staying. They connected up their diagnostic kit and told us what the warning light had come on for. The man we dealt with could not have been kinder or more efficient and really put our mind at ease by explaining what the light had come on for and giving us enough facts to make an informed decision about whether or not to continue with our holiday. When we tried to pay him for his help, he refused to take any payment. After the fiasco with the AA and our dealer, it was so refreshing to speak to someone who really seemed to care about our predicament. Thank you so much for all your help.

I took my car in today concerned about a knocking noise and worried something had fallen off my car around the rear brakes / wheel. I was seen straight away and they fixed the dangerous job from a previous mechanic and garage that had left it that way! Amazing service and knowledge and after all that they wouldn't take a penny for their trouble or the replacement bolt! Definately found my new local garage and cannot praise them enough! I have used this garage for many years and have always found them to be excellent. If there is a problem with a vehicle they find a solution and fix it and they always try to give a good estimate of the cost of repairs.
