Had an issue with my sons car, Roy arranged to have the car collected and fixed the problem, squirrel had chewed through a cable! Kept me informed at every stage, exceptional service and would highly recommend. Will be having the car serviced by Roy from now on.

We and many friends, have been going there for over 20 years. Frank has retired and handed over to Roy who is equally good, a brilliant diagnostician and mechanic. Originally Renault specialists, they cover all makes, and are good with old cars. They call in specialist services (eg Air Conditioning) if required. They only use genuine spare parts, not cheap versions, as they are more reliable. They service our Smart, Mercedes, Nissan, to the extent they always pass MOT first time. The Mercedes had a reconditioned gearbox fitted at 110,000miles and is still going beautifully at 180,000 miles. Our daughter had continuing problems with a 'P'reg VW Diesel Polo, rusted-in ignition plugs, dual-mass flywheel, etc - and it was sorted out by Roy quickly and at reasonable expense - worth coming down form Yorkshire for that! We know people who moved to Oxfordshire, but still bring their Volvos back to Suarez for servicing.

He is very reliable and will recommend preventative maintenance when desirable. Also a brilliant diagnostician, prepared to do research into difficult problems, giving good advice and estimates, and prepared to say when best to refer something back to the manufacturer's, or engage a specialist (eg gearbox or air conditioning re-gas). He has electronic testing equipment, and a network of specialists he can refer to. (I give a rating of only 4 stars for expertise, only because it is a small garage - I may be wrong, as he has always solved problems) He has been keeping our cars going beautifully since 1978 - now Mercedes and Smart, previously Renault, Vauxhall, and Nissan, and we never need to buy new ones until they are about 12 years old! There are people who moved to Oxfordshire, but still bring their Volvos to him for servicing.
