I have used this garage for MOT's and regular service for several years. I run a Subaru which is ten years old and fortunately there is a Subaru trained mechanic called John at this garage. No posh waiting room with TV/coffee machine but friendly helpful staff you can get to and discuss what you need. If there is a problem your options are discussed either at the time or by a telephone call. I am confident in their advice and know that I will not be ripped off. Their labour rates are in the region of £30 an hour. They are always busy which to me indicates that many people know they are getting value for money.

After spending over £1000 at the local Renault dealership and they failed to resolve faltering in my Renault Trafic van, I took it to this garage. Doublebois Commercials identified almost immediately that the problem was due to fuel contamination, and resolved with biocide treatments at a total cost of just over £100. I wish I'd gone to this garage previously; the owner and mechanics know their stuff and are thorough, and don't exploit the customer. I will happily get my servicing of both my diesel vehicles carried out at this garage in future.
