I’m so glad I came across Shaun King Vehicle Engineering, I wouldn’t want to use anyone else for my Evoque now. Good communication and very helpful. Very reasonable. For anyone with a Land Rover, don’t hesitate to use Shaun King Vehicle Engineering.

Shaun was recommended to me by a friend who had used Shaun's services in the past. I am so glad I took my friend's advice. He was obviously busy when I contacted him, but he still found the time to stop and listen to my concerns. He treated me very professionally, as if I was his only customer. After the fault was rectified, he took the time to explain exactly what he had to do, and showed me the parts he had removed from my vehicle. If you are looking to have your vehicle repaired or serviced, I would certainly recommend you chat with Shaun first before looking elsewhere. Very satisfied with the work done and the time it took. Very happy with the cost of work undertaken, and the parts were very reasonable. Shame about the 20% VAT but we're all stuck with that. Thanks again Shaun.

Great service and the garage to go to if you have a tricky Landrover repair that you want done properly

It's true, you can't have a landrover without a great mechanic! I rang shaun on a Saturday and he managed to squeeze me in on the Monday afternoon, all fixed and picked up again by Tuesday lunchtime. I know when my car goes in I get honest, professional help.

I found Shaun’s place whilst I was on holiday. I was looking to get the automatic gearbox on my Discovery 4 serviced. I wanted the filter changed and the oil flushing, but I was struggling to find anyone local to me who would do it. Most places only wanted to do the flush as it’s a quicker and easier job than replacing the filter too. When I spoke to Shaun, I found him friendly and knowledgeable, and he agreed that the filter should also be changed when doing the flush and gave me a rough quote for doing the work (very competitive). We agreed on a date, and I took the back car down for Shaun to do the work. They worked hard to get the car done on time and Shaun ensured he kept within his original quote. I also got him to change the transfer box and diff oils. He identified an issue with my propshaft bearing that needs to be fixed. As I was only down for the day, he didn’t have the time to sort it. Shaun’s apprentice (Charlie) was polite and friendly and kindly dropped me back in Par whilst they worked on my car. The gear change is a lot smoother on the car now. It was a long trip to take the car to Shaun, but I feel it was worth it, knowing that the job was done properly. I’m very pleased with the work that was done and would highly recommend Shaun’s place.

Shaun has saved my car numerous times, he is very knowledgeable, kind and finds the time to fit you in for emergencies. My car is my main work vehicle and so was very quick at getting it fixed. I wouldn't go anywhere else to have my landrover fixed and serviced, and i would highly recommend him to anyone.

I doubt you'll find anybody with more Land Rover knowledge than Shaun, nor anyone with more pride in the work they do. Gets to the root cause of issues and the proper solution. Puts in the hours to help people get out of a jam. A good man.

Took my Disco 3 in because the handbrake started singing. Having been quoted over 2.5k from somewhere else I was advised to try Sean. So glad I did as he fixed the issue for a fraction of the price. Honest, fast, and very knowledgeable about Land Rovers. I will definitely return when something else inevitably goes wrong with it!!

I am a lady who has just bought a Land Rover Defender 90. I called in to see Shaun King as I had heard a lot of good reports, I had problems with the battery not holding. He immediately helped giving me the opportunity to bring it in that day. I asked advice about a number of issues to which he answered very honestly and reassuringly. I booked it in for the next day and he kept me informed with what he was doing and gave a realistic timeframe. Collected the next day. Excellent work.Will always take my Land Rover to Shaun as I feel he will do a thoroughly good honest job treating my vehicle as if it was his own. If you are a lady owning a Land Rover I would strongly recommend going to Shaun King you will not find anywhere better.

I had a full service history with an up country LR specialist and wanted to maintain the record here in Cornwall. I came across Shaun’s website and took it there. I left it with him and he was able to fit the work in earlier than expected. Super friendly guys there, and even had a lift home. Shaun was able to give me a rough idea of prices for the job but even so I was pleasantly surprised at the bill. He used Genuine parts but his labour charges seemed super reasonable. This may reflect the fact that he’s a LR specialist and knows their idiosyncrasies. Certainly came away confident he’s done a good job at a fair price.

I was recommended to take my Defender to Shaun by a friend and I'm so glad I did. The work he did was excellent, he kept us informed of what needed doing (so no nasty surprises when the bill came) and I can honestly say my Defender has never driven so well! Shaun is incredibly knowledgeable about all things Land Rover and to top it all, he's a thoroughly nice guy. From now on our Land Rovers will only ever go to Shaun's garage. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this garage to anyone looking for an honest, reliable Land Rover specialist.

He diagnosed the car and fixed it within a day. We thought we would have 10 days of holiday without a car and being stuck on the camp site. He pulled out all the stops. I have the saying “treat people the way you want to be treated”. Shaun has the same mindset and wouldn’t leave me stranded. Great garage.

Took my Range Rover Sport for MOT and service, all done on time and at a fair price. Will book in for next year, nice to feel valued as a customer and get a good job done with no problems.

I have had repairs to my Freelander 2 at several places. In the main, the job got done. However, the obvious competence of Shaun King Engineering is on a different level and I’d recommend them to anyone. They fixed a problem that two other garages failed to find.

Shaun...Has EP90 in his blood, a man you can trust. He re- arranged his schedule allowing me to drop in extra early on a Monday morning for what I'd describe as s pit stop service while I waited...I had a 300 mile trip ahead of me. I had confidence to just get in the car and go.
