Absolutely awful experience with this dealership - to start with our salesman seemed really helpful and pleasant - right up until I drove my car away. I have found several problems with my car which the dealership are refusing to fix simply because 'well it passed the MOT'. This is not good enough - you do not expect that kind of treatment from a Volkswagen place. I was told by them that my local VW authorised garage (who checked my car after purchasing) tried to pick up on problems to get more money … this is extremely unprofessional and proves how inconsistent Volkswagen are. Read other reviews before you decide to visit this particular dealership. I would avoid at all costs. I hope they hire in new people who have a basic understanding of customer service and a basic understanding of what is expected from an authorised VW garage. Clearly this is not understood here... My car needs both rear tyres replacing, the spare key is broken, the brake pads and discs need replacing and the rear window heater is broken. And I purchased this with faith that VW would not sell a car in this state. I was clearly wrong! They expect you to bring an independent mechaning to spend a day checking the car over because they apparently only check for what is legal in their so called 142 point check. Everything in the car could be broken yet still legal???

We have been using this garage for over 4 years and the service we have had has been great. They are part of the Inchcape group but don't let this put you off! If we buy another VW we will go here for all our servicing and repairs. Top tip, don't go to the same named garage in Wrexham.... Terrible service and attitude.

My 4 year old VW Passat 2.0TDI with DSG gearbox went in for its annual service and air conditioning check - Danes are very competitive with prices and quoted £139 for 10,000 mile service and £79 to check the air conditioning system and change dust filters. I had also asked them to change the fuel filter - £30 On arrival I was told that my particular car was the subject of a recall for a problem with the fuel injectors which would be verified by part number and changed free of charge if they were in the list. I was given a courtesy car and as I had comprehensive insurance - no cost They had the car intil 5-30pm that day and on collection I was given a full check list, the injectors had been changed and the car cleaned inside and out. The customer service is excellent and all staff are pleasent and attentive,
