Colin Nixon autosafe

I wanted to counter the negative review posted on this site as I feel that it is totally uncharacteristic of this hard-working enterprise. I have used this garage for the last 15 years and they have never been anything other than courteous and have represented good value throughout, even when presented with difficult jobs that other garages would have scorned.

I have been using Colin Nixon (autosafe) for over 9 years and have always received a friendly and professional service from Colin and his staff, I have used them for my mot, service and repairs and have never had any problems and I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone who requires work to be carried out on their vehicles.

I put my car in for a service and some repairs were highlighted during this. We agreed to go ahead with this and critical parts were replaced. When I next drove the car I felt that something was wrong. I took the car back to the garage but they refused to accept that there was an issue. We then sought a second opinion from a reputable national garage who confirmed that parts had been fitted for another model. I again went back to Colin Nixon but he wouldn't accept that he had fitted the wrong parts. We provided proof of this but he still would not accept liability. In addition to being several hundreds of pounds out of pocket for his botched work and parts and having to have this rectified by another garage this also compromised the safety of my family. He was recommended to me but I would absolutely recommend that no-one who values their hard earned cash and safety ever gives him their business.
