Initial complaint: ......................................................... Cars2 Wakefield failed to supply my car as per the spec, has broken promises and consistently ignored my calls attempting to get the outstanding issues resolved. 3½ weeks since I collected my new car I am still missing the SD Card for the SatNav (which therefore doesn't work), promised floor mats and boot liner, and I have yet to receive the V5C (log book), so I don't even know if I am the registered keeper! I have thus also been unable to transfer my select registration onto the new car. ...................................................................................... Update after involvement of the Operations Director: ... I am happy to report that the Cars 2 Operations Director has taken the time to meet with me to discuss the various problems that I have experienced throughout the process of purchasing my new car. He has now satisfactorily resolved all of the issues and offered further recompense for the problems I have encountered. He was also happy to take on board a number of learning opportunities, and has undertaken to review and improve the internal procedures to minimise the chances of similar problems arising in future, including keeping an eye on company review sites (such as Honest John). This will enable his staff to be more proactive in identifying and resolving issues for customers. I would like to thank the Cars 2 Operations Director for taking the time to get involved with my complaint, and for the quick resolution of the various issues.

Good PointsUpon receiving my complaint, the Operations Director took ownership of the situation and had all the outstanding issues resolved within two days.
Bad PointsSales staff were very poor at proactive communication and managing customer expectations. The Operations Director has assured me that he will put procedures and training in place to address this.

I was already impressed by the professionalism this dealership showed when I bought the car from them. This first service was carried out quickly and with care. The engine oil level was absolutely spot on maximum. The hinges and bonnet catch were greased, the battery terminal treated against corrosion, the service book was filled in properly and the car was ready for my collection exactly when we had agreed. All the things customers hope for but do not always get from other garages. Pleasant, effective staff; I was greeted as soon as I arrived and escorted to their new reception area and when I picked up my car, a member of staff escorted me to find my vehicle on their large parking lot. The tin of sweets was a thoughtful touch but I was very happy with the general service. A very good car and an excellent dealership.
