Not happy with my experience for a repair. If you get a quote on an OE car part ask for proof it really is from the original brand. In my case I was quoted a dealership price on the part and agreed to do the job because I really wanted to get rid of the issue. The new part didn’t fix the issue and another workshop later on provided evidence the part installed was not OE. These can be found online for less than half the price which leads me to think at Car Tech Autos they pocket the difference. They would not offer a solution when confronted about this, admitting the part was not OE but not offering compensation. Also unable to diagnose the problem, could only plug in their computer and point to parts to change. If I listened to them by now I would have replaced the car bit by bit whereas a hands-on mechanic elsewhere found the issue later to be in the exhaust. Shouldn't call yourself a specialist just because you have diagnostic tools.

After looking through reviews of the internet I found this like local garage with great reviews on own website.....spoke with Boss and explained the problem I had with the car. Was told this is a common problem and would not cost much to fix. After getting a very vague answer to the problem with the car, was told it would cost £300 to fix the various parts needed and thus reset the on board computer so that the car could pass the due MOT. I told the garage that we will be taking the car back to the original Garage we have used for many years to carry out the MOT to then be told that the original garage had not replaced the Air Filter?? On a Service of the car last week...Which I totally find this matter false and it seems Car Tech Autos are trying to decredit another Garage....very unprofessional. When picking up the car, was told all work has been completed and problem with Engine Managment light fix....found the Management light still ON! This then had to be reset again while we waiting more time. Later that evening the Egine Management Light came on again!!! We decided to take the car in Audi to fix this matter in full and use professional Machaics to fix the issue correctly. I will NEVER use Car Tech Autos in the future!! Avoid at all cost unless you want to waste your money....
