Extremely helpful and honest. Went out of their way to drop me off and collect me while my car was being serviced. Can't recommend high enough. Costs were not as high as I thought they would be. Excellent garage.

Excellent service from my local independent Volvo garage. Friendly staff available to explain the repairs required and servicing options. Product knowledge second to none, they certainly know Volvos. Courtesy car or pick up service available to. Highly recommended.

If you drive/own a Volvo, are responsible for getting it serviced and/or through an MoT, and can get to Bridgend in Wales you should look no further than BVS. They are fantastic! I've been with them for years - they've never let me down. Their workshop is impressively clean and neat, the customer service delivered by Bill, Darren, Lisa and Jayson is second to none, and they really know their stuff. All the benefits of a complete Volvo dealer at considerably lower than main dealer prices.

My wife and I have had our Volvo XC70 and Jaguar S Type serviced and MOT`d at BVS for a good few years. Why, because the work carried out is impeccable, everything is explained and the cost is around half of what you would pay at a main dealer who carries massive overheads and to whom profit is king. Just had the Volvo back from having a pinhole repair to the windscreen washer pipe, not an easy problem to diagnose but on collecting the car I was informed that there was no charge as a regular customer. In these times when it is not easy to find reliable, professional and cost effective businesses we are certainly fortunate in Bridgend to have BVS on our doorstep. Derek Morgan

I took my 2008 Volvo C70 D5 in for a clutch change due to slipping, expecting it to also need a DMF. The office is clean and very professional and you have a good view of an equally clean and professional looking workshop. The staff were very friendly and dropped me off in Bridgend town. Despite dropping off the car an hour late they still managed to get the job done before the end of the day and the price was very reasonable. I have used these guys once before for some diagnostic work that was carried out just as efficiently, so they'll be my chosen garage from now on.

I have used this garage since I first bought my volvo s60 four years ago, despite the car now being 10 years old it is still proving to be a good work horse, unfortunately the crank seal decided to fail last week just after passing its MOT, I phoned the garage and they were able to quote me with the price which was very reasonable given the labour time involved, the car was ready to collect on Monday morning, when I drove the car home I noticed the steering was pulling to the left, I phoned the garage and they were able to explain the problem and just to bring the car back where they would reset the tracking. From past experience it is not worth messing about with local garages when it comes to servicing or repairs. Excellent service along with excellent customer service.

I`ve now been a customer of BVS for about 5 years and cannot speak too highly of the most friendly, helpful and efficient service on every occasion of contact. In fact, one of the reasons for buying my Volvo XC70 four years ago was the knowledge that, just a few miles away, there was a garage staffed by folk I could trust to carry out any service or repair work to the required quality and at reasonable prices. We now have my wife`s 12 year old precious S Type Jaguar ( 23,000 miles only on the clock ) service and MOT at BVS - and they recently replaced a faulty rear door remote locking system at just over half the cost at a Jaguar dealer. I have no personal connection with this garage, am not given normally to praise suppliers, but must give credit after 5 years with no problems and a most excellent service. Derek Morgan

Took my wifes 2007 Volvo S40 and had a Main Dealer equivalent Service at a reduced price at the Bridgend Volvo Specialists - BVS, Bridgend with Volvo trained staff. Printout of the Full Maintenance Service program and details provided. The prices and service were so good I decided to havemy rear brakes pads removed and renewed with them. Seemed to be more competative prices than some of the National MOT and service centers dotted around the area.
