I was towed into B&W Motors by the RAC (one of their accredited garages) and have never looked back having been with my previous local garage for 25 years. These guys are not only good at what they do their commitment to finding the best and most cost effective solution seems to be what gives them joy. Regular updates and costings are provided, easy access explanations are provided, and the expertise of the team includes specialist areas which usually you would expect to only be able to access with the main dealer. Having my car under and B&W motors provides me with assurance and confidence. Thank you so very much guys!!!

They changed my £60 to diagnose a faulty AC. They couldnt tell me what the problem was but said I could try changing the £500 condensor but no guaratees it would fix it. When I pointed out KWIK FIT could do exactly the same thing for nothing they suggest they try for another 30 mins,I cant understand if they think they can find the problem in another 30 minutes why did they bother phoning me if the job was incomplete.

My car suffered an electronic module failure. The detective work began and using their experience homed in on the problem. They kept in touch with me throughout the car’s stay at their premises. They offered a solution but were also open to me supplying a replacement part. They were amenable to keeping the car safely at their site while the problem was solved. Clear precise billing with prior warning and no surprises. Completely transparent and professional. Thank You B & W Motor Co. You’ve been recommended already - several times

"Great service and very friendly competent staff."

Routine service on Skoda Octavia, plus cam belt replacement. Nothing but cheerful polite service from staff; they called to confirm work schedule, and car was ready for collection when they said it would be. I had had a warning light on the dash, intermittently: they knew all about the problem, and resolved it. I could not ask for more! But they also cleaned the car, inside and out.

This vehicle was booked having quoted for a replacement crankshaft pulley. Under normal circumstances this job involves removal of the under tray & fan assy to gain access to the main securing bolt. Unfortunately because this vehicle had covered over 120,000mls and the bolt was found to be seized & despite using extended bars the bolt would not move. In fact the bars were bending to such a degree that a technician could get injured. We called the customer and explained that we would have to remove the radiator & air conditioning condenser for access with an air gun. The customer was unhappy that this involved extra work and cost because it could not be achieved in the time quoted and insisted on a revised quotation; we could only give him a worst case scenario. He elected to take the car elsewhere. We had already spent in excess of an hour stripping for access & attempting to remove the seized bolt but he refused to pay one penny and resorted to swearing in our reception. To avoid a fuss we released the car partially stripped, which he failed to understand would in fact save him money wherever he was going to take the car. His "recovery man" explained this to him which he then accepted. It was an unfortunate event but when a car reaches high mileages these things can happen and we notified him as soon as we were aware of the problem. We have traded in Croydon for nearly 30 years and are proud of the fact that these disagreements are extremely rare.

I had an experience with a B&w motor company garage recently. I put my 8 year old BMW one series 120d in for a repair ( not a big job but touchy) " changing pully" At the time they had a deal on and it was 285 pounds ( this in including VAT, labour charge and parts) Four hours after taking the car in I called them up and informed me that they are have difficulty to fix my car and increase the price to £600.00 ( double the original price) Well, as I'm student I could not afford it. Luckily for me i'm in the motor trade and called a friend to check the process of changing the pully and he said there was nothing coplicated with changing pulley at all and he can fix the car with parts and labour + VAT , £220.0 in his garage You think you can trust a so called prestige car company like this!!!! They open my car already and they not willing to put them back either !!! They give customers cheap price , when people take their car there they open the car , change the price , and put customers in horrible situation to pay what ever they want . I'm young and I can challenge these people , what about elderly or those have got no idea about the car?????? I won't be going back to that garage anymore and not recommended to anyone to even fix their toy.

"No nonsense honest advice and service"

I have become increasingly disillusioned with franchised garages which not only tend to be expensive and often not particularly good but have also lost the art of personal service. I came across B & W Motor Company through Blackcircle tyres (they appear to be one of their franchisees) and I was sufficiently impressed to arrange for them to service and MOT my Nissan Note. For the first time in the five years I have owned the Note it really felt it had been properly serviced - I was very satisfied with the whole experience.
