2005 Citroen C8 SX 2.0l HDI timing belt failure, engine stuffed. Recovered to our local Citroen dealer who quoted £8000 for new engine. Car not worth more than £3000. Found this garage at www.c8centre.co.uk, spoke to Gavin Gray who clearly knew what he was talking about. He has developed the tools and techniques to repair the engine without even removing it from the car. His charge for repair including recovery to Edinburgh from Watford area was £1065 + VAT. We had him complete the service and MOT, and final bill was £1502. Gavin met me at the airport in our car and his wife made me a cup of tea before I set off home again. Car running like a dream. Gavin has found himself a niche for repair of the eurovan (C8, Peugeot 807, Fiat Ulysses) and the manufacturers should be looking to him to train them up to repair their cars rather than simply replacing the engine.
