Autolink Service Centre, Wolverhampton

Came across this garage purely by accident in June this year but so glad I did. I usually use the MOT garage up the road from this place and have done for years. I had a noise coming from the car and took the car to my 'usual mechanic' who after keeping my car for a day to check it out advised me I would need quite a bit of work carrying out. I would need a wheel bearing and possibly a steering rack, and maybe some other parts which they would only know once the first parts were fitted. I got a bit suspicious because I was sure I have most of the same parts fitted by this guy the year before after he had carried out the MOT. He then gave me a quote for the work needed (which I would have needed a small bank loan to pay off) I decided to get a second opinion. Saw the Autolink sign for ma free health check and drove in. The garage was busy, and it took twenty or so minutes before I could get booked in for a health check. But I am glad I waited. After the inspection I was explained that I must have hit a pothole as part of my cover under the car had come loose and was scraping on the floor as I was driving. It took them minutes to fix and they charged me just for the missing bolts! Which makes me angry to think how many times before I had been ripped off by my usual mechanic prior to finding these guys. I re-booked this month to get my service and MOT done and they not only beat my usual price but were able to use genuine parts too! Have recommended all my friends and family and will be taking my wife's car here too! Definitely worth a visit!!!

Went in for a MOT and Service, chose this place as it was offering the complete Full Service and Mot for £99.00. I dropped the car at 9am and collected the car after work at 5pm. It had passed its MOT other than a couple of bulbs and they were replaced free of charge. The anti-freeze, oil was topped up at no extra charge also. All filters have been changed and I was offered the old parts to view if required. The Manager, Tony was very helpful and explained the advisory notes on the MOT thoroughly. Over well impressed with this garage. The reception is also fab, made with a car seat theme. They are professional and nice people. The only nag point for me was the fact I had to wait for 10 mins in the morning to book the car in, but I suppose that is me being picky!
