We have used this garage for all our servicing, MOTs and repairs for many years. They always ring to discuss before carrying out unexpected repairs and always aim to solve a problem in the most cost effective way. All the staff are friendly and professional in their approach. They are trustworthy in all aspects. I have no hesitation in recommending.

My Jaguar was taken to Ashwell Garage for Mot work . Ashwell Garage was clearly instructed to carry out any work required on the Mot failure sheet given to them including any advisories listed and put the car through a new Mot test . Not only did they fail to carry out all necessary advisory works as specifically instructed . They actually failed the cars Mot test once again ?? due to their own incompetence ! When changing the front tyres Ashwell Garage lost the wheel spacers then Denied any knowledge of seeing them in the first place ! Unbelievable The car failed its MOT due no wheel spacers ! A completely different reason for the original Mot failure. My car was also left outside by Ashwell garage in the rain ! with its rear screen removed ?? The roof lining now needs replacing ! On top of all this I had the pleasure of paying a ridiculously expensive and exaggerated bill for the minimal work that was carried out on my car . I haven’t even received so much as an apology .

Ashwell Garage is friendly, efficient and consistently cheaper, not only for routine matters but all types of services, and tyres etc. They have a range of well-qualified mechanics and will give good and sensible advice about what should be done and when. Having been advised for example by a main dealer that a number of items were necessary, Ashwell Garage examined my vehicle, showed me what had been recommended and then saved me significant sums when explaining why it had not been necessary.
