Bought my car here, very happy with the deal and they have looked after it ever since. Will continue to have my car serviced here and likely will purchase another car from Arnold Clark when the time arises.

I bought a second hand car from this dealer and had pointed out a number of issues that needed addressing, I don't think one of them was addressed, not even the unevenly worn tyres. The tyre issue, they thought resolving it would be to offer a set of tyres at cost price and charge me for the retracking (both of which had been promised to be sorted prior to collection), the cost price of the tyres was 20% more expensive than the standard price from KwikFit!. They sold me a service plan that over covered the requirements and when asked about it contradicted themselves and generally lied. Aircon was not that cold and they promised an aircon re-gass, didn't happen. 18 months later it was done and I was told it really hadn't needed it by reception but the mechanics video said the problem was probably the flattened fins on the heat exchanger; this meant that if the aircon hadn't needed gas and this problem was there at purchase, I could claim on the warranty - more waffle ensued about yes it did need gas and hence the problem of the exchanger fins was after warranty. I took the car in for a failed heater blower, it was some drains blocked that had soaked the unit and blown it. They cracked the dashboard during this process, duly replaced but all the heater panel lights were then not working. The lights were changed and then the rear windscreen heater didn't work (the button the light were around. Denial of having been anywhere near it ensued and they said it would cost nearly £200 to repair what worked before they messed with it. That was allegedly a special discount price - so why was the real Renault dealer going to charge £130 as standard price, more Arnold Clarke lies. They service the car and left the sump cover hanging so that it banged on speed bumps and banged at speed. After checking the levels on the car, they said they had topped up washer fluid, didn't tell me they had thrown away the cap for this. Poor customer service, staff at desk were not particularly polite once you are known to be criticising the service. When the Arnold Clarke name is mentioned in Wigan, most garages and tyre dealers will all give many, many scary stories about them. Buy your car elsewhere, especially second hand, they lie and scam to sell them

I booked my car in for an anual service and MOT and was politely greeted by Joanne in service I was offered a free drinks and biscuits, papers and magazines. I was asked if I would like a lift home and to be collected later by a driver. When I collected the car Julie informed me that everything was fine and that my car was also cleaned. Fantastic service
