I would not even give this Garage one star! My vehicle was burning oil through the exhaust, I contacted Didcot Auto centre who recommended fitting a refurbished engine into the car as this would be the cheapest option. I was also informed that I would recieve a one year warranty on the engine on the condition that a new clutch was also fitted. This cost me £5000, after picking the vehicle up after having this work done and only driving 15 miles, the car had to be returned back to didcot auto centre due to low oil pressure warning. I was informed by Didcot auto centre that they would need to source another engine and they would not do this until they had received their money back from the supplier. This was ongoing for 3 months. In total I was without my car for a total of 5 months. Only 4 months later the new clutch needed to be replaced again and Didcot auto centre refused to take responsibility and wanted to charge me another £1500 for a new clutch. I went to another garage who replaced the clutch for £1200, I was then informed by the other garage that the clutch bolts were over tightened and had to be cut off which cost me another £200. The starter monitor on the ' new refurbished engine' has now gone. I contacted Didcot auto centre to get this work done on warranty, who are now claiming that it is only a 30 day warranty and not the year they had told me, therefore I am out of pocket for nearly £7000. I would not recommend this garage to anyone, unless you want to be ripped off. Their customer service is disgusting and they have caused me unnesscary stress and I am considering legal action. I have an AC Cobra replica, and always take it to Didcot Auto Centre for its MOT. These guys build and service kit cars, and I wouldn't take it anywhere else. So if you have a kit car, I thoroughly recommend their service. Although I usually do all the work on the Cobra myself, when I needed to swap the steering rack for a new one I decided to get these guys to it. They did a good, professional job. I also take my daily driver here for its MOTs, and they also re-gassed my aircon system at a really good price. Some garages offer discounted MOTs then overcharge for repair work. These guys offer discounted MOTs plus an honest service. Thoroughly recommended.

Brought Didcot Auto Centre our non-running Fiat Scudo and told them to check the EGR valve. They denied this was the culprit and sent us into a £900 diagnosis and unsuccessful repair of the injection system. All to no avail, so we had to sell the non-running car to a polish trader far below value. From that buyer we then learned that he simply cleaned the EGR valve (€30 repair) and the Fiat was running again. In total the financial loss to us amounts to £3200, all caused by DAC's incompetence to diagnose a simple fault.

I've been having issues with my handbrake on my 56 Corsa C, where the car would roll back on a semi-steep hill when the handbrake was applied. Also My bonnet would not open due to slack in the cable. Daryl did a great job to fix both problems in under an hour. This involved taking the rear wheels off and cleaning the brakes in the process. Didcot auto centre demonstrated top care towards me and the vehicle, i cannot recommend them enough. Furthermore I recently had a mot test at a different garage, and the car passed but with an advisory note suggesting the mesh in the exhaust flex was coming away slightly. I asked the guys at Didcot autocentre for a quote to have the part replaced, and they were able to secure the part at a great price compared to online channels. Now i am booked for next weekend to have it fitted and i look forward to it. excellent service!

The MOT test can be a stressful experience, sometimes coupled with costs that are hard to control. Didcot Auto Centre obviously knew what they were doing, and they were prompt, pleasant and polite. I would recommend them and I will certainly use them for servicing in the future.
