Ansam Autocentre, Croydon

These guys have repaird two of my cars now. My second had a bad gearbox issue, they have quoted me competitively and have fixed the issue within 5 days! They have recommended to change the clutch and have installed a good quality LUK clutch with new flywheel and bearing. They have provided me with pictures of the parts changed and shown the faulty parts once the job was finished. They have given a warranty and checked the car before collection. They also took time to explain everything to me. Personally I will definitely return and would recommend it 100% 10/10.

They gave an estimate of work prior to booking and final bill was fairly priced for work carried out : Annual Service, MOT, Tyres and 2 front dampers

I work across from the garage and always bring my car to them to fix anything. They are very honest people kind and affordable. Never had any suspicion of being overcharged like in other garages. I always keep coming back to them 100%

When I bought my second hand Vauxhall Corsa in 2011 for £2500, I took it for periodic servicing to the Vauxhall dealership in Croydon that they would do a good job on their own brand car. Instead they gave me a list of repairs which they said needed to be done totaling to £1500. I called up a friend who knows a bit about cars who recommended that I take the car to Ansam Garage. The guys at Ansam checked the car and carried out essential repairs for £200. The car didn't give me any trouble for the next 15 months. Later on, I also had an MOT done. Charges were reasonable, and they adjusted the headlight bulb, which I had earlier replaced on my own to save money, for free. Good honest guys. Don't overcharge or ask you to do non-essential repairs like other garages. Would highly recommend them.

I have used this garage foir 10 years and have been consistently delighted with the friendly, personal service. Every time my old Focus goes in, other jobs are done FOC to keep it on the road; last time the wipers were changed free; the headlights had become opaque and another garage might have forced me to change them for new ones- Ansam ground down the plastic covers until they were clear again and charged me.....nothing! Its a great place and I heartily recommend it if you live in the Croydon area.
