Long story as short as I can make it. Bought Mondeo Titanium X from ALlen Ford in Dec 09 at 9m old. All servicing & repairs done by them. In Feb 2012 AF replaced (newish) OSF tyre due to MOT fail for a "bulge" they said had probably been caused by hitting a pothole. New tyre fitted same day by AF (for £120) to pass MOT. At service in June their report again mentioned bulge in OSF. Pointed it out to them to be told it was a "computer error" which hadn't been cleared! In November took car in for low battery warning. £200 plus report again said bulge OSF. Rang AF who insisted engineer had checked & OSF DID have bulge so booked car in to AF to check. Had tyre checked in independent tyre firm before taking it in. Fine no bulge. Took car same day to AF & said I'd wait while they checked it. Called me into service bay & yes there was indeed a bulge - in the NSF Tyre!!! Pointed out their report said OSF & they told me it was Admin error! IMO at best they changed the wrong tyre in Feb. at worst I'd driven for 6 months on a dangerous, illegal tyre! And what did they offer? Replaced tyre "at cost" (mine) £75 . Shameful .

After a major service, my Focus was returned to me with the oil level below minimum! It required a litre of my own oil to bring the level to max.!
