We've been using these chaps for a couple of years now for servicing, repairs and the dreaded MOT. They do a good job and their prices are good - they'll always try and and quote before doing any work. Also, they make the effort to fit me in to suit me because I work shifts and when my suspension coil broke recently and limped in asking if it could be done straight away, they rang for the part, started the work whilst waiting for the part to turn up, and got it fitted whilst I waited - all done within a couple of hours :) However, the main reason for recommending them is that they are honest enough to tell you when you DON'T need anything done. For instance, my other half had some bad vibrating thing with her car and thought that maybe her suspension had gone too, but they took a look and tightened up a couple of loose bits near the front wheel and charged her nothing (-she gave them a tenner for their trouble), and a whining noise from my car was diagnosed as a non-urgent/dangerous bearing which wouldn't need attention - it didn't and the noise actually went after a while. I guess that in reality a backstreet business like this must rely on word-of-mouth to survive - they get my recommendation.
