Should I buy this used Citroen C4?
I have seen a 2006 Citroen C4 1.6i 16v SX 5-door automatic at JCS Kegworth used cars and really just fancied it. It is a petrol auto with 51,400 miles on the clock, full service history from new, alloys and a full size spare wheel. It's supposed to be a rare example and is priced at £3490. I would pay cash with no part-exchange as the car I drive now is probably worth less than the Citroen. I have dealt with this garage for many years. My partner recently bought an 08 Alfa 147 from them and the garage did everything you recommended before purchase, including a new cambelt, water pump etc. Would I be paying a fair price and should I ask for anything to be replaced?
Book retail on the date you wrote was £4025 with 58,000 miles, so the garage has priced this sensibly. And you can't put a price on a really good local dealer who looks after you, as this one seems to.
