Is the oil temperature in my car too high?

My 2021 (71 plate) Subaru XV Hybrid shows oil temperature at 102c on a run. Is this normal? Mileage shows 36,656. I've never had a car with a gauge showing oil temperature so am a little concerned. It shows high 80s around town.
The optimum oil temperature range will vary for different engine designs and configurations, but as a general rule when the engine is at its normal operating temperature, 90-110 degrees Celsius for the oil temperature is within the normal range. The oil temperature will potentially drop in town driving where the engine will spend more time at idle, particularly with a hybrid where the car may operate with electric power and the engine may shut off completely for short periods.
