Is it worth replacing the clutch on my 10 year old Jazz?

Is it worth replacing the clutch on my 2015 Honda Jazz 1.4 at 82,000 miles or should I start to look elsewhere for a different car? The price of replacement is £1350. I have recently replaced the battery and brakes and wondered can I realistically keep my beloved Jazz and what repairs will be needed ongoing?
If you want to keep your current car and it meets your needs well, then there is no reason why it cannot continue for many years to come if it is well maintained. We would also suggest shopping around for different quotes on the clutch replacement - £1350 is very expensive and an independent Honda or clutch specialist may be able to replace it at a reduced cost. One maintenance item that you should bear in mind is a timing chain replacement. These are designated 'lifetime' parts that do not need replacing, but realistically this means they have a lifespan of 100,000 miles or more depending on whether or not oil changes have been carried out according to the service schedule. Again this is something you can speak to a Honda specialist about and they should be able to check the condition of the chain for you and advise on its condition and provide an estimate for replacement.
