Stopped in as I’d filled up with the wrong fuel! They attended to me straight away and were thorough, courteous and when I received the bill, they hadn’t stitched me up at all! Real shame I’m not local to them as I would definately use them for all my work - it was interesting sitting in their reception and seeing the comings and goings - they are clearly an honest, professional garage and just lovely to deal with Many thanks, Windmill - appreciate what you did for me today!

Thank heavens for an honest garage. I sent my car to a main dealer for a recall fault notice. They told me that there was an underlying fault that was outside the remit of the general re-call and would cost up to £600.00 to fix. I took the car to Windmill garage for a second opinion and was told that there were no faults at all and the warning light was on because the passenger side bag had been switched off. The showed me how to switch it back on and now the light has gone off! They would not charge for their time.

I stopped at the petrol garage to check tyre pressures. The metal dust cap had corroded and stuck. I popped into the garage to ask if I could borrow pliers but the mechanic insisted on sorting it out for me and replacing the cap. He wouldn’t accept any money. What a gentleman and excellent garage.

I have used Windmill for several years, primarily for Mot's, as they are thorough but fair too. I have also used them for various repairs on our cars, where they have done a good job, and charged fair prices. The staff and mechanics are friendly and helpful, and have a good knowledge of most car makes - they are also a member of the "Good Garage Scheme" which they are proud of. The workshop manager Roger, is a very knowledgeable chap, who goes out of his way to assist people however he can.
