Found my car with a flat. pumped it up and drove to Welland Tyres in Stamford. They took the wheel off, checked the valve and then tyre visually very thoroughly and with washing up liquid. No fault found. Suggested that perhaps some moisture had frozen inside the valve cap and depressed the valve slightly. No pressure whatsoever to buy a new tyre. My offer to pay for their time was rejected. Excellent service, I thought.
