While on holiday I had cause to visit them over a ventilation fan problem. They diagnosed and fixed a drainage problem as the cause and ordered a replacement fan motor to be delivered in a couple of days as they thought it was unlikely that the existing fan would work again. They did say, see if it would and if so they wouldn't replace. It did and they said no problem as they would return the part. They only charged for the unblocking work - two of them for the best part of an hour; £45 I had cause to use them two years previously, also while on holiday, with a windscreen wiper problem. On that occasion the service, etc was excellent, including use of a loan car with the charge being basically for the fuel used.

Peter Lee, 17 May 2024 Today my car broke down right by W Sanders & Sons garage. I was on my way to the hospital and was in a bit of a panic and felt pretty helpless and stranded some way from my home in Barnstaple. I need not have worried because I was looked after fantastically well. My fault was diagnosed and fixed in minutes by a very competent mechanic. Everything at this garage is amazing. The customer service and after care is the best I have ever experienced. Thank you so much for turning my terrible morning in to a very positive experience. Very helpful and friendly staff from reception to technicians. They have always helped out at short notice - luckily very rarely.
