The battery on my SEAT Leon 1.4TSI failed at just under 3.5 years from new. I have a SEAT extended warranty, but this does not cover the battery. However Vindis SEAT in Milton Keynes have been excellent and along with SEAT UK have provided a new battery including fitting at no cost to me. Plus the gave the car a full valet.
