avoid this garage at all costs, my car went in for MOT and they tried to charge me for the things that were replaced a week ago. This garage's main purpose is to only make money at the cost of customers' anguish. Avoid this garage at all costs.

I am not the one to leave negative reviews unless if it’s to serve as a warning to others! I brought in my car for an MOT, so my car had gone through pre-MOT test at my usual garage and it was all ok. Sadly my usual garage couldn’t carry out MOT due to their MOT tester being off sick, so I had to sadly use Upton Noble Garage. They initially treated me well and once I left my car I got a call back 30 mins later, I was surprised how quick it was considering they said they won’t be able to do anything until later afternoon as they had two cars on the both their ramps! They sent me a list of things says that car failed it’s MOT on, brakes (they were professionally changed by my usual garage two days ago), tie rods (changed at pre-MOT inspection) and more shockingly rear wiper. I mean come on, they couldn’t make up anymore things!!! Rear wipers!!!!! I immediately logged on gov.uk to check the status of MOT and as expected they had not carried out the MOT. I immediately rang back and said I no longer want to proceed and collect my car. To my horror when I went back to collect my car, I was presented with an invoice of £175. I challenged it and they became quite aggressive and said they can’t release the car until I pay. I was not left with any choice but to pay for something that was never done on my car and let me mention that my car was still parked at the same spot where I had left it. Please avoid this garage at all costs. Garages like these give bad name to other garages.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Upton Noble Garage and their appalling lack of professionalism, abysmal customer service, and the downright poor manners of the proprietor, Paul Hoskins. This garage's modus operandi seems to be roping people in and aggressively upselling unnecessary services. Trust me when I say that you should avoid this place at all costs and instead opt for any other garage with positive reviews. First and foremost, the lack of professionalism displayed by Upton Noble Garage is truly disheartening. From the moment I entered, I was met with an air of indifference and arrogance. The staff members, including Paul Hoskins, were more interested in pushing additional services rather than genuinely assisting me with my car troubles. It became evident that their priority was maximizing profits at the expense of customer satisfaction. To add insult to injury, Upton Noble Garage carried out additional work on my vehicle without any prior authorization. Not only was this a breach of trust, but it also resulted in unnecessary charges that were never agreed upon. When I confronted them about this unauthorized work, they feigned ignorance and tried to brush off their responsibility. It was clear that they had no regard for ethical business practices or the importance of obtaining consent from their customers. But the dishonesty didn't stop there. When I received the invoice, I was shocked to find that Upton Noble Garage had included work and parts that were never carried out. It was a blatant attempt to deceive and overcharge me. Thankfully, I had the presence of mind to involve my credit card company to dispute these false charges. They were helpful in reimbursing the amount, but it was an unnecessary hassle caused by Upton Noble Garage's deceitful practices. This review serves as a sincere warning to others: exercise extreme caution when considering Upton Noble Garage for your automotive needs. Their lack of professionalism, customer service, and integrity is truly appalling. They will rope you in, upsell unnecessary services, carry out unauthorized work, and even include false charges on your invoice. Save yourself the frustration and headache by choosing any other garage with a positive reputation. In conclusion, Upton Noble Garage's practices and the behaviour of Paul Hoskins, are utterly reprehensible. Spare yourself the anguish and financial burden by steering clear of this establishment. There are countless other garages that prioritize customer satisfaction and provide reliable, honest service. Avoid Upton Noble Garage at all costs.

I've been using them for well over 10 years without problems - except those which I have dropped on their doorstep! The proprietor is a fully qualified motor engineer who is just as much at home in the bowels of a classic Sunbeam or Rolls-Royce as he is wresting with my LDV Pilot or my wife's Renault Megane automatic. A family business with friendly staff, kids and dog. They don't sell motors, but often have customers who want to move their vehicles on and can put them in touch with possible buyers. My last four vehicles (Volvo 440, BMW Ford Ka & LDV) have come via that route, as well as my daughter's first car - a mini.
