Our car was running beautifully but needed a new battery at the roadside. The RAC man who fitted it suggested we get a new drive belt to prolong the cars life. We took it to Tones Autos and after the work was done it stalled all the time and was jerky in 1st and 2nd gear, so we took it back. They sorted out the timing and we went for a spin, but our power steering stopped working and we struggled home. Our friend looked at it and the engine was covered in oil and the reservoir for the power steering oil was empty- the mechanic hadn't tied in the oil feed tube and one of the belts had cut through it. We took it back again, they did the work required but a week later the battery died, and the RAC pointed out that there was still oil on the cam belt so the battery wasnt charging. We took the car to another garage at this point and they sorted everything out at great expense. I would never evre recommend this garage toanyone-don't go near it.

Fabulous service, with a very knowledgeable team. Repaired my car extremely quickly and cheaper I must say (compared to quotes from other garages). Back on the road quicker than I thought! Thank you Very much

They were very good to me when I had my Morris Minor and did all my own servicing and repairs (only going to them for MoT tests), and now I have a more modern car can can no longer do my own repairs they look after me well.
