TMS service both my Mercedes. They even brought one back from the dead which I thought I would have to scrap. My grandchildren ride in my carS and I value them above all else. I would go elsewhere if I was not totally confident in TMS.

I was recommended this garage by a member of the Mercedes forum. Boy, how I wish I for once I didn't listen. The owner of the garage contacted me himself on the forum with a view to him carrying out the work. The 1st job that needed doing was an inlet manifold clean. He spent 6hrs trying unsuccessfully to remove the manifold and managed to lose 2 bolts in the process. The 2nd job was the fan belt. This was forced on to the pulleys and subsequently broke the tensioner. 3rd job was an automatic gearbox fluid change in which he snapped 2 bolts in the gearbox and failed to drain the torque converter down properly (which also took him 6hrs to do). However, these failed into comparison compared to what he did to my fuel injectors. This was a replacement of 6 fuel injectors. These were replaced without new clamps, new bolts and washers. The upshot of this was that the number 4 injector came out whilst I was travelling on the motorway. This in turn sprayed fuel on to a hot turbo charger then caught fire and set the wiring loom and engine cover on fire. The car was towed back to his garage by the RAC for him to fix his mistakes. When I received the car back, another injector came out. After this time, I had it examined by an engine specialist and his analogy was that the injector bolts had been re-used instead of replaced. Yet again the car was returned to have the clamps & bolts re-fitted as they should have been. The car was collected from my home whilst I holidayed for 2 weeks. The car was left with a full tank of fuel and on return 2 weeks later the car had an empty tank, 400 miles on the clock and a back seat embellished with sweet wrappers. The owner of this garage denied all fact. The total cost to myself for taking it to this garage was £2000. I then had to pay further money to have his mistakes rectified. I know I am not alone in regard to his bad workmanship. Others have contacted me since with their horror stories and in many respects, I seem to have got off lightly compared. This is a genuine and honest analogy of my experiences at this garage. I cannot rate this garage positively at all.

"Awful service with a lying owner"

I was lied to about certain work the owner said was carried out on my car which in fact wasn't. The owner admitted lying to me in a face to face discussion and has since written a letter of apology for his behavior and the fact that he lied to me. Due to his poor workmanship I had to get my car repaired elsewhere. The owner had agreed to pay for these repairs but after they were carried out he refused to pay. I have since won a court case against him and he is now stalling on that payment even though it is court enforceable. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid
