Do not use this garage if you want good value, honest service with competitive rates. I feel sorry for all the pensioners in Tisbury who they obviously take full advantage of due to lack of competition, my 80yr old mother who has never been charged for an mot retest in over 60yrs of motoring! The extortionate fuel prices should be enough of a red flag for any potential customers, not that we have ever filled up there!

Being a Tisbury local, decided to fill up with £ 50 of top grade petrol (yes that's all they sell plus diesel) unfortunately they fill the car for you !!! After driving to Warminster I thought I would check if the petrol cap had been replaced (I own a 1996 Jaguar) it had not !!! Phoned, to be advised that they had not seen it and showed no interest, I returned to the garage and mentioned that surely this was a basic ( of course I should have checked but as you have to pay at the office as they fill the vehicle it threw me, after all I am 74 ) only to be told by the presumed owner, Mark (arm in a sling) " you take it off you put it back " I replied, surely replacing the cap would be common sense and good customer care ? After calling him out for his " Couldn't care less attitude " I was ordered from the property (arrogant) and advised that he did not want my business. The person then became aggressive when I continued, became confrontational and rushed at me with a red faced snarl, face to face, (Military and police training kicked in) I faced him down, mentioning my past active role in the military. As the person was still aggressive I called out to those in the forecourt to witness his behaviour and he appeared to calm down. I left the premises, walked to the Beckford Arms in an attempt to locate the item and also retraced my outward journey for a few miles without success, fortunately a replacement was available on E Bay. However, the confrontational behaviour was unacceptable and bears witness to recent comments from ladies, regretfully unable to give a zero as Google does not allow ! Tisbury Motor Company not to be recommended !!!

Honest John , I don’t think so, put car in for MOT, It failed on the usual things like a tire, breaks too low, and 6 hrs of welding , I was about to scrap the vehicle and a friend told me to take it to somewhere else for a second opinion, so I did, the mechanic put the car through a another MOT, it failed on a tire, breaks too low, and that was it, no welding required. The smiling man really does need to change his name, because honest it shouldn’t be... I hope this review helps,

I have used this local, independent garage for many years. They are the most helpful and friendly garage I've ever used in over forty years of motoring. I use them for MOT, servicing and repairs. I have never been disappointed.
