Had my car serviced and a few repairs carried out after recommendations to use them. The team kept me in the loop with findings, costs and timing. Not once did I feel like I was being done over which I have suffered before. They will be my go to from now on.

The car was booked in primarily for an electrical fault which the main dealer was unable to identify. The technicians at the village garage investigated the fault and proved the faulty part meaning my money wasn't wasted. The car was also serviced as part of its visit. I was very pleased with their approach and communication, not to mention much cheaper than the Audi dealer.

Any problems explained before extra work started, face to face or on phone. Happy to stop work to discuss anythingThe staff appear to enjoy working here, they are interactive and pleasant. Tyey were happy to drive me home before starting on my car

See my previous comments. Any repair is discussed prior to the work which meant the fitting of a reliable used spare part saved me a great deal. The staff really want to solve any problem and offer a. really good. service - they are really nice people!

After a number of visits I trust that they are honest, knowledgeable and thorough.

I have been using this garage for some years and hVe always received good advice regarding my vehicles. You need to book car service in advance as they are so busy. If I have had an emergency, they come up trumps.

I dropped my car in to sort out a nasty rattle. They identified it as the heat shield on the catelitic converter and managed to fix it and because they didnt need any parts and it didnt take long they didnt charge.

Having used the Village Garage, Bishops Waltham for well over 10 years for servicing, MOTs and repairs on a Rover, Toyota, Nissan and now Skoda cars, I have always been impressed by their service and helpful attitude. Honest advice is given regarding repairs or services required or not required. Recently booked Skoda in for annual service plus MOT and a repair. The repair and MOT were dealt with, however they had checked the on board computer and no service was yet required ( I come from a time when car servicing was carried out annually!) so they would leave it until it was due. That is why I keep going back.

Faced with a non starting Jaguar XKR and let down by two mobile diagnostic firms (both found on the local Checkatrade list!), I stumbled upon The Village Garage and asked their advice. Despite being choked with work, they diagnosed my problem (expired fuel pump) recovered the vehicle and carried out the replacement. I was kept informed of progress, had options presented and was able to have a genuine dialogue with the mechanic. It transpired I needed two tyres also, so by the end I had an four figure bill. However, I calculate that had I done the work myself I would have saved only £240. I have since returned for servicing and MOT; I was treated similarly. I really feel I have found a gem. Not every non specialist would be willing to take on a car of this ilk but I am happy to trust it to these people. Would I recommend to a friend? To Her Majesty's chauffeur!
