Had a new exhaust fitted and oil + filter change and was Charged £70 for oil for a 2008 Peugeot 107.....3.1 litres so works out to £23 a litre!!!!! When questioned about the bill was told oil is expensive with no breakdown, argumentative, evasive and aggressive staff member had two of them arguing with me, 2nd one stepped in not knowing what car or oil we was discussing but argued anyway that it was perfectly acceptable to charge fo 5 litres of oil as it had to be specially ordered in...5/30 oil!!. car takes 3.1 litres, oil in question was found on-line for less than £30 for 5 litres retail price baring in mind they buy trade! yet they chose to charge double then add VAT, other garages I have used charge for the amount of oil used and my last service with 5/30 oil was £8.61 per litre plus VAT, but still they stood by their charges, a very unpleasant experience, I would suggest that you avoid this place!.
