Station Garage, Andover

I wish I had used this garage 10 years ago after moving to andover. Its a rare gem. independent business. Old school decent garage. Decent mechanics and very fair prices. They went above and beyond to fit me in before Christmas working late. I've used a few garages in the town over the years and this is by far the best. It will now be my go to garage. I'll be recommending to family and friends. Excellent service and pricing. In 2023 a breath of fresh air.

Booked my car in for exhaust problems. Stated I had a temporary silicone gasket on one oy the header downpipes. I wanted this replaced with the correct gasket. Also exhaust was hitting the underside of the car of which I wanted it secured correctly. They told me to drop the car in Friday and in case they have any problems they might need to keep it overnight till Saturday. I dropped the car off as instructed and was told it should not take too long. I waited till 17.50 with no response so I tried to call as they close at 6pm. My call was not answered so I had no idea what was going on with the car. The next day I waited and as they close at 12pm I called to see how they were getting on. Again no answer !! I decided to start walking down to them to find out what was happening. On my way down to them I received a call !! telling me my car was all done and I could collect it. When I arrived I was told the car was done and test driven and they were only charging me an hours labour. I asked to confirm that the gasket was replaced only to be told it was not needed !! and all they needed to do was to tighten a couple of bits, So basically, they had not done what I asked, caressed my exhaust, possible thrashed it out on the test drive and charged me an hours labour for the privilege. Why this took so long baffles me.

We've used Station Garage in Andover for about 15 or so years now. Steve and the guys have serviced and maintained all our cars and now our kids cars. Always super helpful, reliable and dependable. Given the cars we have we have something or other in with them every month or so for servicing MOTs or repairs! Thoroughly recommended.
