They carried out warranty work on behalf of a motor trader on Wragby Road who sold me a car. I was told by the garage a complete full timing chain was fitted. The trader then tells me it was just the timing chain. It came back to me with the oil guage not working. It now shows a fault ode 040A on diagnostics. It also came back very difficult to start too. They told me it needed two new solenoids fitting and they charged me for fittinng them too. Now they are denying ever saying they needed the solenoids fitting despite charging me. I never received any paperwork for the warranty work and when I asked them to stamp the service book they firsr claimed it wasnt on the Peugeot service shedule (it actually is at 80,000 snd £120,000 miles) then when they did stamp the servce book they put timing belt instead of timing chain kit. Never, ever again!

They don't know what they're doing! MG specialists. Don’t make me laugh. I’m no specialist, but after they failed to repair my car, and actually broke more bits. And I’ve just found the “new” alternator bracket they had not fitted properly! Stay away!

Scraped and dinted the driver's door of my XF on a car park column. Can't see any trace of it now. Very good job, reasonable price.

Used to use Shakespeare St Garage for all my servicing and M.O.T work . Moved away and now am back in Lincoln. Needed a timing belt and water pump replaced, same old honest reliable Shakey St. Like I'd never been away. Top blokes top service, would recommend to anyone.

I've used Shakespeare Street for many years. Whilst not the cheapest, although competitive, they are very honest. They don't charge for things they haven't fitted, don't change things that don't need changing and give unbiased advice. They're a friendly bunch too!

I have been going to this garage for about 6 years now. As a female i feel its important to have a garage that know and look after you. They have never ripped me off and always take care of me and my car. They give an excellent service and are highly recommended
