SE Tyres, Tunbridge Wells

Went in with a flat early morning and they repaired the tyre for me straight away - I found the team there polite, helpful and kind (resetting the warning light notice without me asking).

Disgusted by the member of staff who at 3.55pm yesterday (Saturday) told my husband basically it was tough that he had a flat tyre and to come back on Monday because they were closing (at 4.30pm). We bought 2 new tyres from SE Tyres the previous weekend and had a flat a week later. Cause unknown. On a cold icy day with twin babies in back of car to be told there was nothing they could do until Monday was rude and unprofessional. Will take service elsewhere and will not recommend to friends or family.

Got home after being there 2 hours, and noticed the new tyre was on the wrong wheel. When I called up to find out whether the wheel had been swapped over too, they could tell me nothing. They didn't remember me, the car, or what was done; and revealed they keep no record of work done, to which car, when or how. Not impressed. They want me to go all the way there to find out! No offer to send someone out to check their potential mistake; and I'm sure if I wait around to see if the slow puncture is still there, they won't offer me a correction free of charge. Not impressed. Badly run, poorly organised, no record keeping and shoddy customer service.

Had two front tyres done, good price, quick, efficient. Took a while to do balancing, but since then head rattling noise from front tyres. Looked underneath found he'd taken screws out from the covers protecting the underside and fitted it back wrong ad screws have been left off so it's rattling around all the time. We screwed it back up but still rattling and no screws available to rescrew up. Should have left this bit to VW dealers instread. They can only tackle basic jobs there. Always get tyres there but not any more
